Seeking an Experienced Chef for Hotel Style Aged Care Home
Our client is a luxury aged care residence, featuring premium services and stunning rooftop dining experiences. This is not a traditional aged care kitchen – it’s a boutique, high-end culinary environment where presentation, quality and resident experience matter.
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef wo can craft beautiful desserts and baked goods that bring joy, comfort and delight to residents every day.

About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Create and present a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods suited to the needs of aged care residents
- Partner with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal, nutritious, and visually appealing menus
- Ensure dishes are beautifully presented, enjoyable, and easy to consume
- Manage ordering, stock rotation, and storage in alignment with HACCP requirements
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining staff to deliver timely service and enhance resident satisfaction
What You’ll Have
- Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef (experience in aged care or healthcare is highly valued)
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of HACCP, WHS, and food safety regulations
- A creative approach to balancing nutrition, flavour, and presentation
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- A positive team-focused attitude
- Current Police Check and up-to-date vaccinations (as per legislative requirements)
